GSM modem type PAXVCA

Global System for Mobile Communications Modem

The modem is simple to install and is sealed directly beneath the A1700 meter terminal cover.  This gives the benefit of higher security from fraud or tampering. The modem connects to the meter via an RS232 or 485 module. This configuration allows several meters to be multi-dropped from a single modem.
