A1700 input/output modules

The modular design of the A1700 meter allows the systems performance to be further enhanced by the introduction of an input module or an output module that fits beneath the meter terminal cover. These modules can be retrofitted without breaking the meter certification seal or removing power from the meter.

The input module has four inputs that can be used to collect pulses from gas, water or electricity meters. This allows the A1700 to be used as a multi-utility meter. The module will allow pulses to be collected even when power to the meter is removed.

Alternatively, the addition of an output module increases the number of relays from four to eight. The module is available in two versions, one with four solid-state relays and one with three solid-state relays and one 5A relay.
