Metercat
Metercat™ is used to communicate with Elster’s A3 ALPHA and A1800 ALPHA meters for program development, meter programming, meter reading, meter testing, and report generation. It also configures and maintains REX meters. Pocket Metercat is used in the field by Windows Mobile devices to read meters and change meter programming.
Metercat 2.1 supports English, Russian, Romanian, Portuguese (Brazil), French, Spanish, or Chinese languages.
Contact your Elster sales representative to upgrade to Metercat 2.1. If you already have Metercat 2.1 installed, click on the Updates tab below to download the patch to update to the most recent version of Metercat.

The Metercat patch updates Metercat to add additional support:
- Update the Clear Data Task for all Metercat 2.1 releases to recognize A3 ALPHA meter node firmware release 3.0
This patch is only intended for users with Metercat 2.1 already installed on their system. If you use a version earlier than Metercat 2.1, contact your Elster representative.
To use the patch, unzip the file and follow the instructions included in the ReadMe file.
