Where underground hydrants are provided, the water mains can be tapped directly. Our standpipe meters are ideally equipped for this task. To ensure they can all be connected without difficulty, the technical details involved have been carefully defined in Germany, for example, by DIN 14 375. More or less everywhere, the statutory regulations demand that the water removed directly (from the mains) be metered and invoiced. For this purpose, we offer three types of meters, graded by flow rate range. All of them may be calibrated.
